Structure

The liver is the largest internal organ and is found on the right side of the body underneath the diaphragm
​
Function
-
The liver has over 500 functions including detoxification of chemicals and the breakdown of drugs

The liver produces bile that is then stored in the gallbladder until needed to help the breakdown of fats
​
