Urinary Tract Infection 

 

Urinary tract infection is a bacterial infection affecting the kidneys, bladder, urethra and occasionally the ureters. It affects more women than men.

 

Symptoms include; burning on urination, frequency of urine, cloudy or bloody urine with a strong  smell.

 

More serious kidney infections cause high temperature, pain, nausea, vomiting and confusion in the elderly
